Frequent Walker Program

Start Your Very Own Frequent Walker Program!

Walking programs encourage students to walk before, during or after school by making it fun and rewarding.  Programs vary by school, but most either encourage students to walk to school, or the activities are conducted on the school grounds before school, during recess, or at lunch.  Students track their participation by utilizing a punch card or by using the electronic EZ Scan software from Fitness Finders. More information on planning, organizing, and implementing a Frequent Walker Program can be found in this document.
