The East Central Regional SRTS Program observes Bike Safety Month annually in May in conjunction with National Bike Awareness Month, National Bike to School Day, and Bike to Work Week. The event focuses on increasing awareness and bicycle safety while encouraging students to bike to school. In past years, up to 75 public and private schools from across the Region have participated in Bike Safety Month.
