Bike Rodeos are fun, outdoor stations that teach kids bike riding and safety skills, including proper helmet fitting, hand signals, bicycle safety checks, and basic rules of the road.

The Safe Routes Partnership is a nonprofit organization working to advance safe walking and rolling to and from schools and in everyday life, improving the health and well-being of people of all races, income levels, and abilities, and building healthy, thriving communities for everyone.

Established in 2006, the National Center for Safe Routes to School develops resources, provides technical assistance, and conducts marketing for the Federal Safe Routes to School Program. The National Center is the coordinating organization for Walk & Roll to School Day and Bike & Roll to School Day.

The Wisconsin Bike Fed is the only statewide organization that advocates for better bicycling for everyone who rides a bike in Wisconsin, with thousands of individuals, households, organizations, businesses, and communities who support our work.

Fox Cities Greenways, Inc. is dedicated to the creation and  preservation of trails and greenways in the Greater Fox Cities.

The League of American Bicyclists is the grassroots movement to create safer roads, stronger communities, and a Bicycle Friendly America for everyone. Through education, advocacy and promotion, they work to celebrate and preserve the freedom cycling brings to their members everywhere.

 

APBP is a community of practitioners working to create more walkable, bikeable places. They foster peer knowledge sharing, advance technical expertise, and support the professional development of their members who work in government, consulting firms, and in non-profit organizations in the fields of transportation planning and engineering, urban design and planning, public health and active living.

 

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation(WisDOT)  is responsible for  planning, building and maintaining Wisconsin’s network of state highways and Interstate highway system. WisDOT also administers other state and federal transportation programs for aviation, intercity passenger services, rail freight, local public transit services, the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) and others.

 

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) aims to save lives, prevent injuries, and reduce economic costs due to road traffic crashes, through education, research, safety standards, and enforcement.

 

The Federal Highway Administration(FHWA) provides stewardship over the construction, maintenance and preservation of the Nation’s highways, bridges and tunnels. FHWA also conducts research and provides technical assistance to state and local agencies in an effort to improve safety, mobility, and livability, and to encourage innovation.
