About the Campaign
The Safe Routes to School program is implementing the Child Safety Starts With You #ActLikeIT educational campaign to create awareness about driving safe in school zones. The educational campaign is part of a multi-year outreach campaign aimed to help improve the safety of children and families who walk and bike to school, parks, businesses, and other community based facilities. Throughout the east central region you will see yard signs, posters, and banners aimed at raising awareness.
Drivers near the school can help create an environment that feels safe and inviting for pedestrians and bicyclists.
